I have long wanted a process table for my brain.

I just realised that I also want load-balancing. Uh, let me clarify that: load-balancing that works, or at least produces comprehensible error messages, since muttering "varnish error, varnish error" wouldn't actually be more explicable to the general public than just freezing up in mid-sentence.

I think I'm spending most of the time mostly swapped-out these days, which explains the long pauses and flailing whenever someone talks to me about something other than the running process ... errr, thought.

The human brain: Eight Megabytes And Constantly Swapping.

Which somehow reminds me: I want cron.

That is, I guess I do have cron, it's called "the autonomic nervous system," but it seems to be firmware, and I can't get it to run any new jobs, just the tasks some dev back in the prehistoric era decided were life or death. Everything else is this totally subpar "forming healthy habits" utility, and it's really buggy.

I wish I had some sort of scripting capability. The usual forms of learning are inefficient as hell.
