Got my Yuletide in, with 13 hours to go. It's the closest I've ever come to defaulting. (To my recipient, if you came looking for me after the reveal and found this: it wasn't your prompt, it was real life in the form of kittens. At least it was a cute preoccupation?)

I just had a quick look at the parcels under the tree and noticed that there's no new 'unknown work' on my gifts page, so it looks like I beat my own writer. Godspeed to them.
