Mona is at the RSPCA vet clinic under observation for the weekend. What felt to me like a possible tumour (hence the Arnold Schwarzenegger line) turned out to be her bladder, but becasue she's losing weight so rapidly and is generally Not Right, she still needs to be where she can be monitored more closely.

I am shamefully glad and relieved. Mona is with people who know veterinary medicine and can intervene if she gets sicker, and I don't have to try to feed her three times a day and despair when she doesn't eat. I couldn't even fathom how comparatively easy it was to give Calvin and Eloise their afternoon clean and feed with only two of them and both in good health. It's amazing.
